There's so much going on on Saturday that I'm a little bit exhausted just thinking about it. Sunset Sessions has their third night of music at the Belly Up, while FM 94/9 returns to the Oceanside Pier for their sold-out Sandy Parts Festival. They have a killer lineup of indie music, so beg, borrow and steal to find a ticket for this one, which will be capped off by the always enthusiastic and exciting performers Matt & Kim. By nightfall, you can catch the Donkeys at Soda Bar, Bulletins at Tin Can or check out the brand new synth-heavy side project of Jonathan Bates, frontman for Mellowdrone, as Big Black Delta headline the Casbah.
