Sounds Like San Diego: June 4

This week has been a great one for music all over town, and as we move toward the weeekend, the offerings are still great. At the Casbah on Thursday, you can see the incredible one-man band of Bob Log III. Joined by Schizophonics and Gloomsday, it will be as stimulating visually as it will be aurally. Meanwhile, a founding member of Weezer, Matt Sharp, returns to town with his band the Rentals for an all-ages show. I can say it a million times: The Irenic has a neighborhood noise curfew of 10 p.m., and people still show up late. Don't be that guy. Doors are at 7 p.m. The Soda Bar welcomes Miami Horror for a sold-out show, and Michael McGraw and Jesse LaMonaca play a free one at Sycamore Den. Lots of fun stuff to do if you just go out and get it.
