    NEWSLETTERS

Brett Dennen has been consistently growing his audience for several years now, but tonight's highlight at the House of Blues will actually be the opening act, Dawes. The band has been to San Diego a few times now, and every show has left me breathless. The vocal harmonies of brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith are so strong, in fact, that they recently backed the Band's Robbie Robertson on a string of TV performances. The Dawes' new record, Nothing Is Wrong, is another testament to this young band's skill at crafting stories in song.
