There aren't a lot of events held at the Embarcadero each year, but one of its best is the Oysterfest. Still considered to be in its infancy, it brings together oyster vendors from all over. Whether you want shucked, raw or fried oysters, this is the place to be. SoundDiego is interested because for us, the draw is the music, which includes Mayer Hawthorne as headliner , a slew of local DJs with plenty of support acts like Family Wagon and Blood Diamonds. By nightfall, head over to Soda bar for the Burning of Room, snatch a ticket to the almost sold-out Greyboy Allstars show at the Casbah, or check out Creepxotica (the Creepy Creeps tiki influenced down-tempo alter egos) at the Black Cat in City Heights.
