Alright, we're supposed to have a major heat wave this week, so I'll forgive you for wearing flip-flops to a show as long as you're supporting live music. Tickets for the Record Company at the Belly Up have been sold out for ages, but there are plenty of other treats to make going out worth your while. At the Casbah, rock out to Circa Waves and Dreamers. I can't speak to Circa Waves' live show as I've not seen them before, but Dreamers were super great opening for the Head and the Heart earlier this spring and they've already got a big show booked late this summer, so catch them while you can at a small venue. Meanwhile, Collective Soul hit the Grandstand at the Fair, Los Cafres rock out at the Observatory, and Blair Crimmins & the Hookers bring "new-rag" to Soda Bar.
