It isn't very often that I recommend a show for a band that, quite possibly, not one single reader will be familiar with, but that's okay. DMA's are one of the most buzzed-about Aussie bands of the moment, but it's only been a couple weeks since the release of their EP, which was released on Mom + Pop -- the same label as one Miss Courtney Barnett. On the radar of indie tastemakers KEXP and KCRW, the band is described as putting their own unique spin on sounds of the Stone Roses, Built to Spill and Oasis. If you like to be the kind of person in the know, or the guy that sees a band before everybody else jumps on the bandwagon, tonight would be a good night to hit up the Casbah.
