Indie faves the Meat Puppets showcase their punk country sound in San Diego on Tuesday night.

The Meat Puppets have certainly had their ups-and-downs over the years, but it truly is nice to see the band come out the other side, though I would hardly say they made it through unscathed. With that survivalism comes a maturity and a certain appreciation for every day and every show. The last few times they've come to San Diego, I was utterly impressed with their shows, and after their last time around at the Belly Up, seeing them back on the small stage of the Casbah is certainly worth your time.
