If you feel like this week started off a little slow, you will certainly think otherwise when you look at Wednesday's live music options. Kicking things off, the Temper Trap return to San Diego with a show at House of Blues. After the success of their debut full-length Conditions, the Aussies have released a self-titled album that finds vocalist Dougy Mandagi exploring his vocal range beyond that recognizable falsetto. Homegrown rockers Crocodiles are support for the tour and their lastest, Endless Flowers, is a well-rounded album with the band's expanded lineup. Over at the Casbah, the Drowning Men perform with River City Extension and Low Volts. Though the Drowning Men are a local band, they've been touring extensively the past few years and tend to play at the Belly Up when they're in town, so believe it or not, this will be the band's first show at the Casbah since 2009. The Soda Bar is host to X's John Doe, while Dot Hacker, featuring Josh Klinghoffer of Red Hot Chili Peppers, plays at the Griffin. Tonight is super-packed with goodness, so get out and enjoy!
