I can write about indie rock or singer/songwriters or metal or other genres all day long, but there's no doubt that San Diego loves its reggae. And if you're gonna see reggae, it might as well be from the famous Marley family. Tonight, Ziggy Marley is back in San Diego with a show at Humphreys Concerts by the Bay. I can just imagine the red-jacketed security trying to control the plumes of smoke coming from the crowd, and I have to be honest, I find it pretty hilarious. Around town, singer/songwriters and frequent collaborators Theo Katzman and Joey Dosik play the Casbah after numerous sold out dates on their tour, New Yorkers VHS Collection play Soda Bar and legendary punk rockers the Authorities play Til-Two Club.
