Sounds Like San Diego: July 9

Tuesday is all out local music at your favorite venues including the Casbah featuring Privatized Air

For a few months, the Griffin has been hosting local Tuesday nights. It's a 91x Loudspeaker event, and you can bet that Halloran has his hand in the action, as does the show's former host, Lou Niles, who has been known to put down a show or two of his own at the Griffin. They will present a solid lineup headlined by the Sinclairs, a local three-piece that is getting some local love. Also, the Casbah joins in the all-local fray, with Privatized Air taking the headlining spot. With either show, you can't go wrong if you want to check out some new tunes. But I'm going to shuffle into the Void just because Salton Seazures is such a great band name. Finally, if you like the hard stuff, Soda Bar has one of the few touring acts of the night with Weedeater, a sludge metal band from North Carolina.
