The singer/songwriter talks about why he's a musician and his Friends With Benefits showcase at Lestat's (Published Thursday, Jul 7, 2011)

Earlier this week, SoundDiego profiled Josh Damigo and his monthly Friends With Benefits shows over at Lestat's. This month, Damigo is heading out on a solo journey on a tour of the Southwest. The road can get lonely for a guy with just his guitar and the open road, so come send him off from the place he calls home (even after moving to LA) with the feeling that this town is rooting for him.  I know there are other great shows ... the White Buffalo and Ari Shine are pretty fantastic, and the Rumble is back at Bar Pink with another great lineup of bands you should know, and Soda Bar has a pretty amazing lineup, too, so I know Josh won't begrudge you if you can't make it, but keep your options open and perhaps try something new while you're at it.

    • Josh Damigo’s Friends With Benefits Show, featuring Josh Damigo, Cindy Santini, Landon Keller @ Lestat's
