Sounds Like San Diego: July 6

There is so much going on over the course of the next two weeks that I'm going to have to pull out a thesaurus just so I don't sound like a repetitive robot. Over at the House of Blues, musical duo Mates of State return to bring their indie-pop sensibilities to an all-ages crowd. Note that this show has moved to the 5th Avenue Side Stage. The Casbah is offering up a face-melter of a show with Valient Thorr headlining the night, and the Ruby Room has the Western Scene featuring Tom Pritchard of Dynamite Walls...which is not to be confused with the Western Set over at the Tin Can. Eleven, the Whistle Stop and the Griffin all bring some exciting options to this Friday night as well.
