This Tuesday, San Diego has your genres covered. For those of you who lean toward melodic radio pop, Carolina Liar are playing at the Griffin. The South Carolina-bred band has seen great radio success here and even more so in Europe. After seeing the band play an acoustic set a few years ago, I can say that they're incredibly solid musically and harmonically. The Griffin will be a nice intimate setting where the band can shine.

Over at the Soda Bar, LA Psych Fest presents, well, a night of psych rock (which can also lean toward the punk perimeters) with Ahkiyyini and locals Wild Wild Wets to get you sloppy.

Down at the Casbah, local lable Art Fag presents a show headlined by Bleached, a band comprised of sisters Jessica and Jennifer Clavin, both former members of Mika Miko. DIIV (pronounced Dive from what I hear) and locals Mad Kiwi open the show.
