Sounds Like San Diego: July 3

Shady Francos head up your long list of live-music options around town

I know you're probably gearing up for a big 4th of July, but the 3rd of July is where it is at for music this weekend. Tonight, the guys in the Bassics have put together an amazing lineup of local talent, all performing at the Boys & Girls Club in Imperial Beach to raise money and collect donations for the homeless. They're joined by Shady Francos, Schizophonics, Flaggs and more with host Tim Pyles on the mic. You can be sure this is going to be an all-ager rager. By nightfall, head to Casbah for the Redwoods Review. Al Howard, Matt Molarius, and Josh Rice have joined forces to start a record label and tonight is a showcase of all of those projects, which feature the cream of the crop in San Diego talent. If that still isn't enough, Appleseed Cast is at Soda Bar, the Liquorsmiths join Behind the Wagon and Grampa Drew at the Ken Club, and Seven Grand celebrates their three year anniversary in North Park.
