Sounds Like San Diego: July 3

Bite into the indie-pop deliciousness of Royal Teeth at the Casbah on Wednesday

What happens when a musician in San Francisco creates a transcontinental collaboration with a buddy across the country in North Carolina? You'll get the band Goodnight, Texas, a beautiful creation of Americana music. If you take the midpoint between those locales, you'll find Texas and thus the name for the band. Goodnight, Texas is less "Hey, ho!" and more traditional Americana storytelling that's done really well. And we hear a jangly orchestra will be performing with them at the Soda Bar. Also, there's the indie-pop deliciousness of Royal Teeth over at the Casbah. Their debut album doesn't drop until August, but the buzz from this band is undeniable and being signed to a trusted tastemaker label Dangerbird doesn't hurt either. One thing for sure you just can't go wrong with either show.
