There's plenty to do around tonight, but why not start your weekend early with an afternoon at the track? Whether you win or lose on the ponies, you'll be rewarded with one of the best of Del Mar's Summer Concert Series as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club performs after the final race on the brand new Seaside Stage.
I can hardly think of anything better than sweeping vistas of the ocean as you rock out to the driving tunes of BRMC. The band's last record was released in spring of 2010, which means you'll hear your old favorites and probably be treated to some new, as-yet-unreleased tunes as well. The concert will end early enough to take your pick around town, whether that's Yuck at the Casbah, the Johnny Rad Fest at the Ken Club or any of the other great options for the night. Go big tonight and reward yourself with a lazy Saturday of sleeping in.
