I warned you earlier this week that there would be a ton of great shows around San Diego this weekend, and just because you may not be in tune with Crystal Stilts at the Casbah or King Tuff and Jaill at the Soda Bar, that doesn't mean that they're not worth seeing. These are the kind of bands that have that slow grow -- you'll see them in three years in large venues and regret skipping out on them in the small ones. Or, you could make your Saturday night in San Diego a night of discovery, and when these bands are playing to thousands, you can brag about seeing them among dozens in a small bar. It's the way of the indie-rock world. You can either jump ahead and catch the wave or you can regret it later. No pressure...
