Sounds Like San Diego: July 27

Take your time while scrolling through Friday's shows because there are some doozies and, if you time your night right, you might be able to hop around and catch a couple of great shows (after you watch the Olympic opening ceremonies, of course).

Kicking off the list, Strange Vine returns from Fresno for a show at the Ken Club with the Beautiful View and Radio Silent. Strange Vine have been pounding the pavement and touring frequently and this is a great chance to see them.

Down at the Casbah, Mr. Tube & the Flying Objects perform, and since Pall Jenkins is suggesting the end of Black Heart Procession to focus on Three Mile Pilot, this might also be the last time to see Mr. Tube for a while.

Good guys Dead Feather Moon headline over at the Griffin, Little Deadman play an art opening in Encinitas, and Behind the Wagon rock out at Soda Bar.
