All your media coverage this week has been dominated by Comic-Con information and a who's who of celebrity sightings. For all intents and purposes, Saturday is the last hurrah for 2014, loaded with parties most of us can't even stand around and pretend to be invited to. So you can wander around downtown and still do the CC thing, but we recommend taking a break and supporting a mainstay in San Diego: The Miller Family's Alex's Lemonade Stand. Supporting a national charity that raises money for childhood cancer, the Lemonade Stand outgrew the Miller's home, so this year you'll find it at the Masonic Lodge parking lot across the street from Rosie O'Grady's in Normal Heights. Support a great cause and catch live music from Josh Damigo, Spero and Jimmy Ruelas. By night, find the Comic-Con event of your liking, or catch a show with the Muffs and the Loons at the Casbah, Emily's Army and Grand Tarantula at the House of Blues or welcome back Brick By Brick with a show with the Burning of Rome.
