Jace Everett has rocked his deep country voice into the veins of "True Blood" fans.

There's something about settling into your favorite chair on a Sunday night in a dimly lit room as the opening scene's of HBO's True Blood play on your television screen. First there's the recap montage of last week's episode, then some dramatic lead in to the new episode interrupted by the bass line of Jace Everett's "Bad Things." He sings, "I don't know who you think you are, but before this night is through, I wanna do bad things to you," and you know for an hour you will be transported into the bon temps world of vampires and werewolves and animal shapeshifters. And while all belief is temporarily suspended, you're lost in it. Everett's deep country drawl makes him a powerful singer, and it's fitting that he's playing the Casbah the night before Comic-Con descends upon the city. Fangbangers and furbangers, welcome.
