With all of the excitement around town this weekend, it's easy to forget that San Diego has a killer music scene. It also might seem that we're super Casbah-centric around here, but a night like Saturday demonstrates how key the Casbah is to the scene. Impose and Art Fag host their third night of the Con, headlined tonight by the bunny-eared and tighty-whitey sporting act, Nobunny. The Casbah also presents Futurebirds at Soda Bar for the indie-rock aficionados and Scott H Biram at the Void for the whisky-swilling crowd who just want to see an acoustic guitar get destroyed with some heavy strumming. Of course, there's lots of music and comedy and other entertainment this weekend, but my best advice is to pick one place and ride it through the night.
