There are some nights when I feel like it is an obligation to send you to one bar or another. Other times, there are so many good shows that I believe your soul should lead your way. In this Friday's case, there are great shows all over town. The night offers a punky show at the Casbah, an all-ages show with diversity at Victory Theatre, some slightly alternative rock at the Griffin and some indie-rock prowess at Soda Bar. Mostly I think you should just go to what you know and party down with the Styletones at Bar Pink. It isn't new, it isn't indie and it isn't going to break your heart, but it will certainly shake your booty. On a Friday in San Diego, what more can you ask for?
