It appears that most touring bands are taking the holiday weekend off, which means you get to enjoy some of San Diego's finest homegrown bands tonight. While Earthless is rocking the Casbah, Heavy Hawaii plays a rare all-ages show up at the Che Cafe, Primitive Noyes will blow the roof off the Tin Can, and the San Diego Music Award-nominated Nervous Wreckords play a free show at North Park's Bar Pink. If you happen to be downtown, drop in for a set by the Red Fox Tails at the Marble Room before you tear up the Gaslamp. Tonight is a great night to be a San Diegan, so live it up and enjoy the amazing local scene.
