It has been a while since the Casbah has put together a face-melting lineup like the one on Thursday, so if you're ready to shred yourself into the weekend, this would be a great place to start. If that isn't quite your speed, Los Angeles, Calif.-based La Sera return to lead a solid lineup of indie bliss at the Soda Bar. Around town, Hills Like Elephants perform at Bar Pink with Brian Lopez, whom you may have seen earlier this spring with Heartless Bastards at the Belly Up. Or you can see Pool Party and San Diego's favorite robot in the Satanic Puppeteer Orchestra over at the Tin Can. There are actually a lot of great shows around town, so head over to your favorite watering hole and let some live music into your life.
