Sounds Like San Diego: July 18

Robert Ellis brings a little twang to Casbah

San Diego summers are the best, and even though the forecast is calling for some sticky weather, we can still enjoy all of the good stuff coming our way. Typically, Mondays are slim pickins', but whether you're into the country and Americana sounds of Robert Ellis at the Casbah or the synthy indie pop of Vancouver's Rococode at Soda Bar, you have some solid choices. Up at the Belly Up, CeeLo plays his first of two nights to bring you all of the hits, and the Merrow and Che Cafe have worthy shows, too. If you want to be with all of the cool kids tonight, however, head to the Office, where all of your favorite local musicians get together for Undercover. This month, they're playing Madonna, and it is sure to be spectacular.
