It's another Thursday night in San Diego, which means you have more options to see live music tonight than you can probably wrap your head around. The Blow is the moniker of musician Khaela Maricich, and tonight she brings her sweet electronic-backed vocals to the Casbah, though in my opinion, it's openers He's My Brother, She's My Sister who are not to be missed. The band really seems to be picking up steam. A few months ago they packed LA's Satellite four weeks in a row for their residency, they just did their first headlining tour up and down the west coast, and they performed at the High Sierra Music Festival. The tap dancing percussion is incredible and though there's a quirkiness to the band, the talent is legit and prevents them from being just another band with some schtick. Also around town is eukele virtuoso, Jake Shimabukuro, down at Liberty Station, Panda is at the House of Blues, and Normandie play a free show over at Bar Pink.
