In December, I had the privilege of going to the Troubadour in Los Angeles for a music showcase to benefit Invisible Children. The organization was founded in San Diego after three students went to Sudan and knew they had to help former child soldiers. Invisible Children is still going strong, and one of their key elements is education and awareness. I met some of the guys behind the organization and chatted about doing music showcases in San Diego, and one thing lead to another and tonight is the first of what we hope to be an ongoing relationship. Locals acts Finding Francis and Tyson Motsenbocker will play alongside NO from Los Angeles tonight at the Casbah. If you like bands like the National and Arcade Fire, you're going to love NO, too.
