Sounds Like San Diego: January 7

Yesterday I told you that residencies are here in a big way in San Diego, and Tuesday we have more evidence of that over at the Griffin. Every Tuesday of this month you can experience Nightmare Air as they bounce back and forth between San Diego and their hometown of L.A. Born of the much-hyped Silverlake scene, you'll love this band if you appreciate the fuzzy rock of bands like Silversun Pickups or A Place to Bury Strangers. In fact, the band features Dave Dupuis, who toured with SSPU as a sound engineer and found some success as guitarist for Film School. The shows are free if you RSVP via Facebook and worth so much more.
