And just like that, another month has come and gone, but not before one final January night of fun, frollicking and rock & roll. Down at the Casbah you can catch Nashville Pussy. The band hasn't played the venue since 2006, so expect to see old friends and hear familiar tunes as you enjoy the rock feast.

Our favorite South Africans return to San Diego, but this time the Parlotones are playing the Griffin as 91X presents the band as their Next Big Thing, though we might have already called them that in their past two or three jaunts to our fair city.

Meanwhile up at the Belly Up, the Woods Brothers return with their bluegrass-infused roots rock to get the dancing feet moving up north. We think that all adds up to a lot of great options to hurdle you over the week and into the weekend.
