VHS or Beta will be at the Hard Rock on Tuesday.

One doesn't typically think of a Tuesday night as a great one to pull out those dancing shoes, but when your top choices are British act Fujiya and Miyagi at the Casbah or VHS or Beta over at the Hard Rock Hotel's 207, you should probably make sure that whichever you choose, you get a disco nap in before heading out. The show at 207 is free with an RSVP to Filter Magazine, so even on a budget you can see some great music with locals Hyena and Gabe Vega appearing as support. Over at the Casbah, the Wheeler brothers (of Scarlet Symphony) have branched off and created Pal&Drome, and while I'm typically not into electronic music and it sometimes just looks like a bunch of knob twisting, I can tell when it is done well, and after seeing these guys pull it off last month at the Casbah, I'm confident you'll be hearing loads about them in 2012.
