Steven Cohen/Rogue Valley
Tonight is a grab bag of music all over town. I have no strong recommendations for you because it appears that most of your options are relatively new bands, but that's exactly why you should get out and explore. Tonight's Anti-Monday League, for example, celebrates the greater region that we live in with a cross-border exchange, with both the Dancing Strangers and San Pedro El Cortez hailing from Tijuana. Soda Bar offers up an eclectic rock show, while Tin Can welcomes the harmony-laden band Rogue Valley, who are here all the way from Minneapolis. You might also consider heading over to Whistle Stop, where Adam Gimbel hosts his final ever Musical Pursuit trivia night. Down the line we'll see if it was really the last ever, but why take chances?
