This Saturday brings metal to the Casbah, with Cattle Decapitation; one of our favorites, Buddy Banter, to Soda Bar; and the 5th annual Beat Farmers Hootenanny to the Belly Up. The hootenanny includes local and touring musicians in honor of the Beat Farmers, who helped shape the San Diego music scene in the late '80s and '90s, until the untimely death of Country Dick Montana. Guests include Fred LeBlanc of Cowboy Mouth and many others -- it's always a night of unexpected surprises.
