I have been waiting for tonight's show at 4th & B since it was first announced in late 2011. Nada Surf just released a new album, The Stars Are Indifferent to Astronomy, this week, and San Diego is one of two CD-release shows the band is playing before embarking on a longer tour later this spring. They're one of my favorite bands, and with support from the Soft Pack, Republic of Letters, and Cuckoo Chaos, this is a solid evening of music that promises to tickle my eardrums all the way to the core. If you're in the mood for a double-header, stop by the Casbah before 4th& B, where comedian Hannibal Buress will tickle your funny bone at an early show.
