Long before getting "rickrolled" was a thing, Rick Astley was at the top of all the pop charts. I was the sixth grade emcee for an elementary school talent show when I was unsuspectingly surprised by a fourth grader who dedicated his lip-synced performance of "Never Gonna Give You Up" to me. I was mortified and simultaneously flattered, and decades later, I'll never forget it. Tonight, let yourself get carried back to wherever you were in life and enjoy Astley's show at House of Blues tonight. Of course, midweek is hitting a stride, so Casbah doesn't disappoint with Seratones, Dr. Bronner's throws a big love-fest party at Music Box, Pepper smokes out the Observatory, and the Office attempts a Minor Threat Undercover. Count me in.
