Every night in San Diego offers something valuable in the vein of live music, as you must very well know by now. However, if you've been waiting for the first huge night of music in the new year, this just might be your night. Friday has so many great shows that we can really only hope that all of them catch their fair share of attention and attendance.
Starting off at Soda Bar, you have the incredible Cuckoo Chaos along with one of my personal favorites from L.A., Incan Abraham. If you feel like heading to Ocean Beach, the Heavy Guilt team up with another great L.A. band, the Steelwells, and San Diegans Boy King to keep you grooving all night long. The 16-year-old skater girl in me is rejoicing that Quicksand performs at the House of Blues, and you can never go wrong with Dead Feather Moon teamed up with Blackout Party at the Casbah.
All the way down the list are some exciting prospects for the night, so grab some friends and catch some amazing live music to set your weekend in the right direction.
