All good things must come to an end, and with tonight's final show of the Wednesday residency of Olin & the Moon and Maxim Ludwig & the Santa Fe Seven, it will certainly be bittersweet. The bands have played their hearts out the last three weeks, and this week they're joined by another Los Angeles band, Vanaprasta, so expect some high energy and maybe even some heavy drinking. I've found myself humming Olin & the Moon songs for days after their performances, and I suspect for tonight's performance, Maxim Ludwig will probably fill the stage for their final song of their set, which always involves a whole lot of clanking and banging of drums, tambourines and anything that makes a sound. Catch these guys if you haven't yet.
