Sounds Like San Diego: Jan. 2

The Geezers, celebrating their 10th year, headline a fun night at the Casbah

It's a new year, and hopefully you had a great holiday week, but if you're like most people, it really just means more work with less time to do it, so you're probably really ready for the weekend. Friday at the Casbah, it's all fun and games, with some of San Diego's quirkiest bands like Lion Cut and Geezer, and Scotty Pants, who hosts an awesome karaoke night at the Hideout on Sundays, will be hosting karaoke in the Atari Lounge between sets. No doubt this will be a fun party. Meanwhile, at Soda Bar, get your skankin' shoes ready for a night of ska, with five bands to keep your body moving all night long. At Sycamore Den, catch San Francisco's Edwards Crossing, Chain & the Gang are at the Hideout, and there's a night of tribute bands at the Merrow.
