Justin Vernon and his band, Volcano Choir, storm the House of Blues Sunday night.

"Who is Bunny Bear?" the Twittersphere erupted as Bon Iver took home a Grammy, and after sold-out tours, fans wondered how Justin Vernon could top his previous two albums. He did so relatively quietly, with a new band called Volcano Choir. The debut is incredible, haunting, and yet somehow more lively and with a sold-out show at House of Blues, fans will see for themselves if the magic is still there. My guess is no doubt, it will be. Meanwhile, the Silent Comedy play a sold-out show tonight at the Casbah, but fans can still buy tickets for Monday night's show if they missed out on tonight.

    Sunday, January 19:

    • Volcano Choir, Cloak Oxe @ House Of Blues (Sold Out)
    • The Silent Comedy, the Heavy guilt, Deadly Birds @ Casbah (Sold Out)
    • Austin Jenckes, Cody Beebe and the Crooks, Jesse Lamonaca @ Soda Bar
