It's an exciting Tuesday, as everyone's favorite duo, Mates of State, return to the Casbah for a stop on what appears to be a tour of exclusive and small venues. They haven't released new material since 2011's "Mountaintops," so it's nice to see an old fave tour just for the fun of touring. This night is going to be a blast, so forget your responsibilities for the evening (and, er, the morning) and head down to the Casbah to catch the show. If that isn't your calling, however, Soda Bar hosts Cult of Youth, while AJ Froman leads the local Loudspeaker lineup at the Merrow, and Surefire Soul Ensemble finish their residency at the Hideout.
