It always seemed obvious to me that L.A. bands would use San Diego's proximity to their advantage, but for a long time it seemed that our city was snubbed by our neighbors to the north. A few indie bands would venture down every once in awhile, but they seemed few and far between. Lately, however, I see this changing. Maybe the success of several San Diego bands has changed their perception, maybe they're tired of L.A.'s pay-to-play clubs, maybe they just realized that San Diego has a lot to offer. All of that being said, Saint Motel has been pounding the pavement in our town for several years now, so tonight at the Casbah it's only fitting that we welcome them back to their home away from home. It's also been some time since all of the Heavy Guilt have performed here, so let's call it a two for one and throw in the nFormals for good measure, shall we? Sounds like a great Wednesday to me.
