I feel like I was in a bubble this week, because it really didn't occur to me there were so many phenomenal shows this weekend. I've been looking forward to Mutemath for some time now, and it has been ages since I've seen the band -- tonight's show at 4th & B will be a good one. I don't know if you noticed at last week's Nada Surf show, but the venue has been tweaking their sound system and the difference is night and day. Around town, Minnesota hip-hop collective Doomtree take the stage at the Casbah; He's My Brother, She's My Sister perform at the Loft; and the Jealous Sound appear at the Soda Bar. You should also know that though Lisa Loeb is best known for her '90s hit "Stay," she's produced some great material over the years, and when she performs tonight at Anthology along with Jill Sobule, you'll get to hear just how prolific she is.
