I appreciate SoundDiego for so many reasons. To have the backing of NBC supporting this crazy little music scene of ours is really incredible, and NBC stations in other cities have followed suit with their own music sites. But sometimes, aside from the grandiose goals and accomplishments of SoundDiego, one night a month my job is made so much easier because we program the party that is always going to be the pick of that night (duh!). So here we are again with another SoundDiego LIVE, and we're coming at you in the heart of North Park at U-31 -- the VIP guest list closed at 4 p.m. on Thursday, but the party is open to the public. We've put together a great lineup with the Palace Ballroom, Dirty Sirens and this month's Garage 2 Glory Winner, Blacktop Royalty. Of course, our sponsors Jack Daniel's will be in the house. keeping your thirst quenched. After SoundDiego LIVE there are some other sweet shows, but come out to the party, and from there you can decide what shenanigans you want to get into.
