Do you feel like dancing tonight or do you want to see some dancing? The six-piece Los Angeles indie-folksters of He's My Brother, She's My Sister are back. Lauren's tap dancing as percussion never gets old, and the combination of athleticism and musicianship prevents it from feeling like shtick. The brother (Rob Kolar) and sister (Rachel Kolar) lead the band in their good time folk. Over at Soda Bar, Reptar returns to San Diego. The band was last in San Diego when they opened for Foster the People, and as I stood backstage with some music-industry insiders, the general feeling was that Reptar was going to blow up over time. That said, this is a great chance to see them at a small club and hope the rest of the city hasn't caught on to their talent just yet.
