I am so ready for this weekend to kick in, and tonight you can find something great, no matter what corner of the county you choose. The former San Diegans of the Soft Pack return to the Casbah, along with their good friends Beaters and Plateaus, which should definitely be a great reunion, while Ziggy Shuffledust & the Spiders From Mars bring their cheeky Bowie tribute to the Ruby Room. Ari Hest and Laura Warschauer should pack in the crowd at Lestat's, while the Amandas will groove at the Soda Bar. For those of us who want to rock on a budget, the Heavy Guilt and the Black Sands perform a free show at the Whistle Stop in South Park. These are just a handful of the many shows around town tonight, so get out there and enjoy what your city has to offer.
