And locals Get Back Loretta provided some much-needed schizophrenic indie rock.
It's Monday but if you're lucky, today is a holiday for you and you're out enjoying all that this town has to offer. If you're at work, I'm sorry, but cheer up because this week has so many great shows that will offer some distraction from the grind. Kicking off the week, you'd be wise to check out Get Back Loretta who don't play all too often anymore, along with Wendy Bailey and True Stories and Vanja James. The night is the five year anniversary of Roger and Sara Morrison who wed onstage at the Casbah, but the night is open to all, even if you don't know the couple. Roger's band, Listening To Rocks, will also perform in the Atari Lounge. If that doesn't suit your fancy, there's a New Music Adventure with a handful of the bands who performed at Sunset Sessions. I didn't get a chance to see all of them, but I know from past experience that Brothers From Brazil and The Makepeace Brothers are definitely worth catching.
