Sounds Like San Diego: February 19

There are a lot of singer-songwriters around, and within the category, a whole slew of genres and variations, but the kind of singer/songwriters that captures my attention are the ones who really know how to tell a great narrative -- one that transports you to the where and the why of what they're singing about. Scott H. Biram definitely has that gift. He's got a bit of a country bent but with a gritty punk attitude. You can catch him Thursday with Jesse Dayton and Ypsitucky at the Casbah. Meanwhile, the Belly Up hosts legend Taj Mahal, Grizzly Business tear up Soda Bar (see our SoundDiego Spotlight here), and the Pharcyde play a $5 show at the Observatory.
