Bob Schneider can go from a quiet storyteller to a raucous rocker in the matter of seconds. Fans are never disappointed by his lively performances.

If you've never experienced a Bob Schneider show, tonight is your latest chance to do so. I've been following Schneider since his first major label release, Lonelyland (Universal Music Group), in 2001, though he had a colorful history before that with his band, the Scabs, and since then with various small label and independent releases.
I like to think of Bob Schneider as the Steve Poltz of Austin -- he's a great musician, a great storyteller and you never know what to expect at one of his shows. It makes sense that the two are buddies and have spent time recording together. Schneider's touring on his latest release, Lovely Creatures, and the first single is his most played ever on radio. Schneider is the kind of guy who shakes his fans' hands at the end of a show, just like Poltz, which makes him so beloved by so many San Diegans.
