The catchy Everest return to San Diego to kick off a weekly residency at the Casbah.

I love bands that love San Diego. I've heard of bands playing here, being disappointed by one thing or another, and taking years to finally pull them back on tour. Other bands, however, clearly have a love of our fair city, whether it's because of our weather, or, in the case of Everest -- and the more likely reason -- that we have some of the best radio stations in the country and they, in turn, play some of the best bands around. Everest is getting lots of radio support in our market, and it would be great if that translates to showing the band some love during their weekly residency at the Casbah, which kicks off tonight. Be there early because, Infantree and Voxhaul Broadcast are getting their fair share of blog buzz as well.
