I told you this week was going to be a little bit nuts, right? With so much going on in the news and in politics and in the flower/jewelery/greeting card industries, you really should take the time to take a break from media overload and enjoy a Wednesday night with live music. I personally don't book shows often, but I did put together a little pre-Valentine's show over at the Casbah with the Americana tunes of the Peripherals, my friends Burning Jet Black from Los Angeles (formerly known as Whiskey Saints) and San Diego's favorite indie-harpist, Kelsea Rae Little. There's a discount at the door if you show up with your significant other, but we'll honor it for your bestie, your mom, your designated driver, or the random person you picked up on the street to get a discount at the door. Come hang out with me for some mid-week fun and we can talk about all of the awesome things we have planned for the weekend.
