Sounds Like San Diego: February 11

Last week I told you about a free residency at the Casbah with L.A. act Sir Sly. What I failed to mention was how great the openers would be, which so many of you who came out discovered. This week promises to be another great -- and still free -- appearance by Sir Sly. They're heavy on the keyboards and percussion so they'll definitely get you dancing if that's what you seek this Anti-Monday. If you're like me and love a little Americana and folk infused in your indie rock, be sure to check out Miner who just might remind you a bit of Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros in all the best ways. You really can't go wrong with this free show.
